The place is gorgeous, and really relaxing. We had absolutely everything we needed, and all inclusions were very high quality. Loved being able to stroll on the beach and promenade track so easily, and the sound of the lapping waves from the cottage. Close enough to walk everywhere and plenty of choices for coffee and food etc.

Our third stay in this lovely beachside villa that is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully put together with lots of nice touches and extra amenities that give it a boutique feel (it reminds us of those lovely villas you get in Asia). There’s a tropical garden, pool, good kitchen amenities, deck with outdoor seating and bbq, and comfortable inside spaces. Spotlessly clean. Good wifi. Excellent communication with host. Perfect location right opposite the beach and a very calm, peaceful setting. You will love it and leave feeling very zen! We will definitely be back.

I loved everything about Sejala Beach Huts. The Hut is very private. It was the perfect quiet get away. Just what we wanted. I particularly loved the Hammock and the outdoor shower. Everything was just perfect.

“The Sejala huts were simply, elegantly and perfectly fitted out. The attention to the small details made our stay particularly pleasant – quality sheets, beach towels and chairs, coffee maker, mosquito coils, candle lantern, toiletries, hammock and so on. Whilst the huts overlook the beach and beachside walking track, they still feel very private. The fact that we could spend most of the day at our hut and still feel on holiday and not feel cooped up (not otherwise possible at any resort) made it well worth the price.”

“Sejala huts are ALL that Janet has described and so much more! My partner was unable to attend at the last minute, so a dear friend joined me instead. Janet organised a day bed to be arranged for her, which was ever so kind and thoughtful. Janet has put so much consideration into the decor, set-up and amenities of these huts and it shows from the moment you arrive. We stayed in ‘Waves’ and needed for nothing. The location was divine and it was safe, secure and serene. In Janet’s absence, David and Maureen look after the property and were just lovely. We stayed for 5 nights/6 days and it was bliss. An easy 5-10min walk along the path to town and only a minute to the beach from our hut’s deck. Sejala exceeded all of our expectations. The hut was a peaceful sanctuary that is suitable for anyone; whether travelling solo, with friends or with a partner. The photos don’t do it justice. Thank you Janet, I can’t wait to return”

It was super clean with lots of towels and beautiful l’Occitane products. We stayed in the Coral hut which was facing a little courtyard with beautiful vegetation around and adjacent to the swimming pool. All and all a very pleasant experience. We would love to come back.”

“What can I say but Paradise”
My wife fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived … it was exactly what we were looking for – a secluded paradise. We stayed in Waves Hut and the accommodation was superb.
The pristine beach is literally about 10 yards away down a path through a coconut grove. We arrived there at about 2pm and there was hardly a footprint in the sand.

“A dream come true – you can’t get more romantic than this!”
Staying at Sejala is having a dream come true. Your own hut on the beach and in the forest, a hammock on the veranda, an outdoor bathroom and all the luxury you can imagine. It is impossible to put the magic of this place into words – you simply cannot get more romantic than this. The price comes at a premium, but it is worth every penny – you’ll dream of this place for years to come. Stay here and slip out early to watch the sunrise over Mission Beach – you’ll tell your grandchildren of this in years to come. Definitely recommended!
“Truly a little piece of Paradise”
We stayed for 10 nights at Sejala in September, and it was a wonderful relaxing holiday.
“Paradise”
…  the sound of the rainforest behind you can throw a towny a bit, we found a tree frog in our sink on the first night! 

However once you get used to the surroundings it is absolute bliss, I cried when we left, you really get the feel of what it would be like to be a beach bum for a while!
“Romance is still available!”
The Sejala “Waves” cabin was so beautiful and just broadcast ‘Romance’! – a special place to honeymoon. People spend thousands of dollars a night to experience an environment like this … the Sejala Beach Units were a wonderful start to a lifetime together.
“Peaceful and quiet location, boutique styling”
We had two nights at Sejala and found the Waves beach hut to be excellent, with interior styling that was beautiful, and very comfortable for a couple.

… the morning brought the true beauty out when we awoke early to a glorious sun rise over the beach. The last day here my boyfriend proposed and the setting could not have been more perfect.

The Sejala Beach Huts on Mission Beach are lovely and very well situated. ……separated from the beach proper by about twenty metres of low density rainforest foliage, allowing a sweet view of the beach and the Coral Sea from the hut’s deck: most tranqulizing.
